The majestic Half Dome has challenged adventurers for many-a-year. Situated in the Yosemite Valley, the Half Dome is 4700ft of sheer granite, carved out of the Sierra Nevada range by glaciers of the ice age. Its timeless dominance over the valley has left people in benevolent admiration of the works of nature. Here, the Half Dome is captured from Columbia rock, on the way up to the Upper Yosemite Falls.
